Steps for setting up COD fees with COD King
What is COD fees
The COD King – COD Fees & OTP Verify app for Shopify lets merchants add a COD fee (an extra charge) when a customer chooses Cash on Delivery (COD) payment.
How the COD fee works in COD King
- You can set a custom extra fee (for example, ₹/₹ + % or flat amount) that will apply only if the customer selects COD as payment.
- You can also hide or show the COD payment method based on rules like location, cart value, product type etc — so the fee can be part of broader COD-management strategy.
- The fee helps merchants offset the extra risk/costs of COD (fake orders, returns, RTOs)
